The new STIHL 4-MIX engine is the first four-stroke engine which works on a mixture of petrol and oil based on the patented 4-MIX principle and combines the advantages of four-stroke and two-stroke engines in a single unit. It develops up to 80 % fewer pollutant emissions than comparably rated twp-stroke engines and can, therefore, easily meet future emission standards. It also produces a quieter and more pleasant sound and has much higher torque. |
